Shannon Murphy has over two decades of experience in research and analytics for financial services and in academia. As the Head of Research, Shannon is focused on strategically leveraging iConnections data to deliver next generation insights to clients, allocators and partners.
Shannon was a Managing Director and the Head of Strategic Content at Jefferies, where she built their multi-media communications and thought leadership efforts in Prime Services. She collaborated with leaders across Equities, Fixed Income, and Investment Banking on podcasts, videos and white papers, leveraging diverse expertise to enhance brand awareness and elevate the firm’s profile. She previously led the content offering in Credit Suisse’s Prime Services division, and served as the Executive Director of Harvard’s Corporate Responsibility Initiative and Associate Director for Communications for the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government. Shannon has degrees from MIT, Harvard and Colgate.
