It’s January, and hedge fund conferences in sunny Florida are back. After Covid-19-induced cancellations last year, some industry professionals are going to descend on the Sunshine State in the coming weeks for a series of conferences and sideline events giving managers a chance to pitch their funds to allocators.
This year’s events come amid a surge of omicron variant cases across the U.S. that are prompting a greater focus on safety protocols. While some national events have moved forward in-person, including the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, others, including the music Grammy Awards, have been postponed or cancelled. Read more
