Russell Read, Ph.D., CFA is the Chief Investment Officer of 10X Capital and the former Chief Investment Officer of CalPERS, the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation, and the Gulf Investment Corporation (Kuwait). He also served as Chairman of the Investors’ Committee for the President’s Working Group on Financial Markets under the auspices of Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson.
