• Matrix has a 22-year track record of investing in disruptive technologies and pioneering business across software & cloud, streaming media, payments & e-commerce, semiconductor, and tech-life sciences sectors. Employing a multi-decade approach, Matrix identifies transformative technology themes and backs visionary entrepreneurs in the public and private markets. Combining both traditional equity experience and crypto-native knowledge, Era has invested and built a large network of crypto founders since early 2017. With a builder-first mentality, she and her team focus on strategic investments in Web3, protocol, fintech, DeFi, NFTs, metaverse, and digital asset infrastructure that reshape the next generation of the internet.
• Prior to Matrix, Era was a senior investment strategist and early employee at Galaxy Digital, a $1.2B Digital Asset focused investment fund, where she helped build and invested globally since the start. Previously, she was also a Partner at 8 Decimal Capital in New York and a tech private equity investor at the Inkwell group.
• Era holds an MSc in Computer Science and Information System from Columbia University and a B.A. in Finance from Georgetown University.
