Roy Niederhoffer graduated magna cum laude from Harvard in 1987 with a degree in Computational Neuroscience. He founded R. G. Niederhoffer Capital Management, Inc. in 1993 and brings nearly 30 years of experience in the hedge fund industry to his expertise in digital assets. Mr. Niederhoffer was a very early entrant to the crypto space, making his first foray with the purchase of Bitcoin in 2011. He saw the potential for crypto assets to become their own robust, ecosystem and has continued to expand into other areas including Decentralized Finance. He remains at the forefront of what’s happening in the digital space.
Mr. Niederhoffer also serves as Chairman of the Board for the Harmony Program. He is an accomplished classical and jazz pianist, plays violin with the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony, and is an avid skier. He, his wife and his five children reside in New York City.
