Michael is a Director and a member of the Investment Committee as well as the Head of Digital Assets at ICG Advisors. Michael is a generalist, but has conducted investment and operational due diligence on digital assets-focused hedge funds and venture capital funds since 2017. He researches and invests in various parts of the digital asset landscape including Layer 1s, Layers 2s, DeFi, gaming and NFTs. Prior to joining ICG in 2015, Michael was a Research Associate at GWI where he specialized in water infrastructure in the offshore oil and gas industry. Michael received his MSc. from Oxford University and B.A. from Swarthmore College.
