Bastian Bolesta is a founding partner of Deep Field Capital, a Switzerland based quant boutique specialized in the development of pure intraday and short-term futures programs, providing a long (realized) volatility profile with two-sided convexity and anti-correlation to all other asset classes. Since 2011, Bastian has been managing the team’s growth and transformation from a self-funded prop trading house to a multi-product institutionalized quant boutique. At the beginning of his career in 1998, Bastian worked with Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt, London and New York in various roles, including market and credit risk controlling. Bastian holds a Master in International Relations from the University of Cambridge, UK and a Diplom-Betriebswirt in Banking and Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. Bastian is a certified Chartered Alternative Investment analyst (CAIA) and holds the series 3 license (NFA/FINRA).
