iConnections LLC (“iConnections”) considers the health and safety of all those onsite at the Global Alternative Investment Conference 2022 as our top priority. We are committed to building this event safely during public health-related challenges. To accomplish this goal, however, we need all participants, including attendees, guests, volunteers, staff, and partners, to do their part as well, as described below.
iConnections has established health and safety protocols for the Global Alternative Investment Conference 2022. We are requesting that all participants and attendees follow all such health and safety protocols at all times. These protocols are subject to change at iConnections’ sole discretion in response to changing conditions and regulations.
Considering the ongoing spread of COVID-19, individuals who fall within any of the categories below should not engage in iConnections events and/or other face-to-face meetings or activities. By attending an iConnections event, you certify that you do not fall into any of the following categories:
iConnections reserves the right to refuse attendance to any iConnections event and cancel registration if an attendee falls within one of the above-mentioned categories. Please be aware that iConnections does not provide refunds for Global Alternative Investment Conference registration cancellation or platform subscription cancellation or to participants who fall into the above-mentioned categories.
iConnections requires that all participants and attendees follow the most recent CDC guidance regarding travel related to attendance at any iConnections event. It is the responsibility of each attendee to familiarize themselves with the latest Miami Dade County travel advisories prior to arriving in Miami or to a Global Conference event.
UPLOADING PROOF OF VACCINATION
Individuals are required to upload proof of vaccination to the iConnections App up to 72 hours prior to arrival on-site for the iConnections Global Alternative Investment Conference.
Vaccination information is collected via a HIPAA-compliant third-party service that features SSL and TLS encryption, as well as high level encryption both in transit and at rest to ensure any sensitive information that is uploaded is kept private and protected. iConnections does not have access to the uploaded information. Learn more about HIPAA policies here.
Registration will be subject to cancellation without refund for any participants who do not upload their proof of vaccination prior to the 72 hour period. iConnections may allow exceptions under special circumstances at its sole discretion.
GUIDANCE ON COVID-19 BOOSTER SHOTS
COVID-19 booster shots are not required for the iConnections Global Alternative Investment Conference. However, if you are eligible, receiving a booster is strongly recommended. We also recommend that you upload your booster documentation to the iConnections Mobile App, if applicable.
DUTY TO SELF-MONITOR
Guests should continue to follow iConnections Global Alternative Investment Conference health and safety protocols while attending meetings and events off-site, that are not held at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. This includes meetings and events that may not be hosted by iConnections, sponsored by another organization, or a private individual.
Participants, including attendees, guests, staff, partners, and volunteers agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 (symptoms typically include fever, cough, and shortness of breath) and, contact iConnections at notify@iconnections.io if they experience symptoms of COVID-19 within 48 hours after participating in any event hosted by iConnections.
During the conference, if a participant is feeling unwell and takes a COVID-19 test off-site, we ask that the individual remain off-site until their test results are complete. If the test result is positive, we ask that the participant stays in their home, or hotel, contact their primary care provider and report their positive status to notify@iconnections.io.
If the test results are negative, the unwell participant is still asked to stay home, out of respect for the health and safety of the other guests and staff.
MASK WEARING
We are implementing a ‘Restaurant Rules’ mask policy to provide for a safer environment when in the conference center. Participants will be required to wear masks indoors when moving through the conference center. When seated at a table or standing at a high top, masks may be removed. We recommend that participants be courteous to other participants and follow suit during meetings – if others at your table are wearing a mask during meetings we recommend that everyone wear a mask to make your co-participants feel comfortable. Masks will also be required during all general sessions when seated in the ballrooms on Leadership Day on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.
RAPID TESTING
A medical station will have rapid COVID-19 testing capabilities on-site as needed.
