Mark Nicholas Cutis is a Senior Advisor- Strategic Projects within the Office of the Managing Director and CEO in ADIC. Mark is a seasoned banking and capital markets executive with extensive global market experience spanning 40+ years. He has actively managed portfolios as CIO and CEO on behalf of both private as well as multilateral (EBRD) and sovereign wealth funds (ADIC) in multiple geographical locations. Most recently, he was CEO of Abu Dhabi Global Market, the international financial centre of Abu Dhabi. Prior to that, he was Group CFO, and Chief Advisor of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (2018 – 2021), and immediately prior to that was the founding CIO of Global Special Situations at Abu Dhabi Investment Council (2008 – 2018) now part of Mubadala. He has also run investment managers and financial institutions in London, Tokyo, and New York and has had work stints in Frankfurt and Moscow as well. Mark holds a BA in Monetary Economics and History from Emory University and an MBA in Finance from Wharton Business

He was formerly Managing Director of Discretionary Investments, where he oversaw the multi-manager equity hedge fund platform. He was also a member of the Discretionary Management Committee. He began his career in 1993 as an IT analyst at Eurostat before joining Salomon Brothers’ Fixed Income Arbitrage Research team in 1996. In 1998, the group became CLMP Software Research, which developed applications to present financial data, performance and risk information to traders at Salomon Brothers and Endeavour Capital Management Ltd.
In 2001, Giorgio joined Banca Fideuram in Rome, where he developed applications for internet banking. He returned to London in 2007 to join Emso, initially developing and enhancing the firm’s internal portfolio management systems before moving to the investment desk as a portfolio manager focused on external credit markets.

Jonathan (Jonny) Thompson, CFA, is Chief Investment Officer and Founder of Isabella Capital Management. He has over 18 years of experience in credit markets. Prior to founding Isabella, he established the international convertible bond business within Citadel London. During his time at Citadel between 2018 and 2022, his role and responsibility extended beyond leadership of the international convertible bond business to European high yield and distressed European systematic capital structure arbitrage.
